The beachy beverage is from Bar Manager Andrew Phillips, who came to Sandpiper from Cellar 335, one of the top-rated tiki bars in the NYC area according to Yelp. A casual neighborhood restaurant at 2259 Avenida De La Playa blocks from La Jolla Shores Beach, Sandpiper is co-owned by founder George Hauer and chef Trey Foshee.
